www.10kids.com site highlights articles, tips and book recommendations for women of all ages. From home management to fashion and professional development to parenting, there are a variety of topics covered. This website is updated regularly and organized according to theme. Irene Fruendorfer, who founded the website, is a social worker and mother of a large family who wanted to reach out to help women by "lending a helping hand" and inspiring them to be the best version of themselves.

 
 

www.familydevelopment.ca is part of the International Federation of Family Development (IFFD) and hosts courses and conferences for parents and, more recently, young professionals. The courses are modelled on the case study method and this unique methodology offers strategies and training to participants as they navigate the facts, problems and solutions through case studies designed to represent typical family or life situations. Currently, national courses are being offered remotely.

Recollections are a monthly opportunity to re-examine your life goals and refresh your spirit in a ‘mini retreat’. This includes one meditation given by a priest of Opus Dei and one short talk given by a lay person.

Ottawa-There are two recollections in English and one French recollection held every month at Valrideau residence either Tuesday morning 9:30-11:30 or Thursday evening 7:15-9:30.

Belleville-The recollections take place in the evening at St. Michaels Catholic church from 7:00-9:00 pm.

Kingston- The recollections take place in the evening at St. Josephs Catholic church form 7:00-9:00 pm.

 

The organization, Promotion of Education and Values, offers courses, workshops and seminars for women on a variety of topics including: planning the future for university students, marriage, professional development, fashion and parenting. Many of these events are offered virtually on a national level.

Chilawee Trails comes to Belleville in August 2021!

With some restrictions still in place, the traditional Barry’s Bay campsite was not an option. Organizers hit on the idea of pop-up camps in local clusters, where groups of girls could enjoy all the fun of camp together. Homeowners in West Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa, and Belleville made their backyards available, and camp organizers and staff did the rest, planning traditional camp activities, from games to hikes to swimming and crafts.
