Activities

This leadership program includes games and activities to help participants recognize their strengths, determine their personality types while making friends and having fun.

Become leaders

The development of leadership skills and vision is the goal of this program. LEAP encourages participants to take responsibility and develop the confidence to become leaders in their community.

Coaching

Successful completion of this leadership training program allows teens to apply for staff positions at Chilawee Trails Camp. Certification is provided at the end of the program and can be used for other leadership positions in the school or in the community.

How often does the event take place and what are the fees?


LEAP takes place every year in the spring on two Saturdays. There is a small charge for food and activities, usually around $ 10.

Where does LEAP take place?

This leadership training program takes place at the Valrideau University Residence, on Daly Street in Ottawa.



How many girls attend this event?

The numbers vary from year to year, but there are typically 20-30 girls attending LEAP.
